Mrs. Thivierge 58 passed away Monday August 12, 2013 at her home following a lingering
illness. She was born December 24, 1954 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky to Mitchell J. & Reba
(Bayne) Morber. She married Kenneth J. Thivierge Jr. on August 23, 2001 in Gladwin. She
enjoyed spending time with her family specially her children. Laura enjoyed gardening, canning, collecting hippos and was always willing to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband, a son Dean Bard; 3 daughters Danyell & Erik Champagne,
Daina & Patrick Barz and Darcee Bard; 1 grandson Jericho Barz; her mother Reba Morber
and a brother Steven & Sandra Morber. She was predeceased by her father Mitchell J.
Morber.
In honoring Laura’s wishes cremation has take place and a Celebration of Life was held at
her home. Inurnment will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly,
Michigan. Laura's wishes were for no flowers as an expression of sympathy. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.Â
Family celebration of her life were held Wednesday at her home.
