Mr. Burnell 69 passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 at his home following a lingering illness. He was born in Saginaw On September 11, 1943 to the late Charles & Cecilia (Lamb) Burnell. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was retired from Tan-Cor Construction Company. Lee was an avid outdoorsman who loved to to hunt, fish and trap.
He is survived by his sons Lee Burnell, Mark Burnell and Don Burnell; 3 grand children; a sister Nan Jarosiewicz; a brother Charles (Delores) Burnell; 1 niece and 4 nephews Chuck (Miranda) Burnell, Jim (Cheryl) Wolkens, Michael (Rachel) Burnell, Jodi (Stephen) Young and Robert (Elizabeth) Burnell and several great nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 20, 2013 at 1 pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with graveside services at Highland Cemetery with military honors. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 8 pm, Friday from 1 to 8 pm and Saturday 12 Noon until time of services.
