Obituary for Lee Perry
Lee Perry, age 73, a lifelong resident of Gladwin passed away peacefully at the Pines in Gladwin on Saturday, September 15th, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1944 in Gladwin to Sherman and Lydia Perry. Mr. Perry was employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Brown Machine in Beaverton and Dow in Midland. He loved playing his guitar and old cars. He enjoyed reading the Bible and was an elder at Community of Christ Church in Gladwin. His family was his passion. Beloved husband of Virgie, Dear father of Shelley (Keith) Bohannon , Shannon (Matt) Novenske, loving grandfather of Sara, Samantha, Laira, Jessica, and Amanda and daughter in law Tamra Govitz. He was preceded in death by his son Steven, his grandson Casey and his sister Lois Henderson. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Community of Christ Church, 2329 M61, Gladwin. Officiating will be Elder Roger Haines. Friends may call on the family at the church after 11am. Inurnment to follow at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin.
