Lillian Cora Howe (Michael ), age 95, passed away on September 26, 2016, at Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Lillian was born in Troy, Illinois on August 17, 1921, to Fremont and Louise Michael. Lillian became a teacher and moved to Michigan where she married Lyle Howe in 1948. They moved to Gladwin, Michigan in 1953. Lillian taught at Gladwin High School for over 30 years
Lillian is survived by her sister, Marion Rinderer from Lake Forest, CA; 3 children; Judith ( David) Hargraves, Fair Oakes , TX; Rebecca Morgan, Flint,MI; Charles (Patricia) Howe, Elsie, MI. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Michelle (William) Enszer; Meredith (Danny) Testerman; Erica. (Donald) Hiltner; Raye-Lynn Morgan; Travis (Lea) Howe; and Troy (Kelli) Howe. Lillian also has 5 great-grandchildren.
Her parents; brother, Kenneth; and son-in-law, Donald Morgan preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held at Sissons Funeral Home in Gladwin, MI on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 3-8 pm.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. Ross Street, Beaverton,MI, on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 11 am, with luncheon to follow. Lillian has been cremated.
Donations can be made in her name to the First Presbyterian Church.
The family would like to thank the staff at Caretel Inns in Linden, MI, and the staff at Genesis Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI for the care they gave to Lillian.
