Mrs. Myers 73 passed away peacefully Wednesday morning August 1, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center – Midland following a brief illness. She was born May 15, 1939 in Butman Township to Alvin & Iva (Ockerman) Yeager. She married Gene Myers on October 27, 1956 in Gladwin, he preceded her in death in 2000. She was retired from the Gladwin School District as a bus driver and a member of the Hockaday Community Church. Margie loved to cook and bake for her family & friends. She enjoyed being with her family and working in her flower beds.
She is survived by her children Kevin & Teresa Myers of Farwell, Kent & Lisa Myers of Copemish, Kerri & Mark Kirkton of Gladwin, Kurtis & Debra Myers of Belleville, Kelli & Duane Creedon of Britton, Kole & Debra Myers of Gladwin, Kortni & Dan Brewer of Gladwin and Angela Simpson-Behunin of CO; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; her mother Iva Grace Yeager of Gladwin; 2 brothers Don & Marilyn of Coleman and Jerry & Gwen Yeager of FL. She was preceded in death by her father Alvin B. Yeager.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Sisson Funeral Home on Saturday August 25, 2012 at 11 am with Pastor Winston King presiding. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until time of services. Those wishing and expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Hockaday Community Church or the family’s wishes
