Obituary for Marilyn Frances Stockwell
Marilyn Frances Stockwell, age 63, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at West Branch Regional Medical in West Branch, MI. She was born May 7, 1947 in Royal Oak, MI, the daughter of the late Thomas and Frances (Mortiz) Nurnberger.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, she always had a smile on her face and loved people in general. She enjoyed crocheting, Knitting, latch hooking, going for drives in the country and the 4 seasons of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her brother Tom Nurnberger.
She is survived by her husband Ernest “Ed” Stockwell of Gladwin, MI; daughters, Donna (John) Leak of Maxton, N.C. and Dianna (Terry) Smith of Livonia, MI. Brothers, Charles (Tina) Nurnberger of Houghton Lake, MI; Robert (Eula) Nurnberger of Belleville, MI and Arthur (Jean) Nurnberger of Rochester Hills, MI. Sister Bessie (Jim) Segouin of Snellville, GA. 3 grandchildren; Christopher, Nicholas and A.J. Great Granddaughter Olivia.
In accordance with Marilyn’s wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI with Pastor Matthew Schultz officiating.
