Mrs. Whittaker 96 passed away Sunday March 17, 2013 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center- Midland following a lingering illness. She was born in Detroit on December 12, 1916 to the late Peter & Edna (Weins) Garnier. sHe was a member of Sacred Heart Church.She is survived a son Kenneth Kunert and a daughter Patricia (Kevin Shelton) Whittaker; a special niece Marjorie (Chuck) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her first husband Aloysious J. Kunert and second husband Robert J. Whittaker; a sister Corothy and a brother Peter.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 11 am from Sacred Heart Church with Rev Fr. John Cotter presiding with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 am until time of Mas. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
