Mr. Nash 76 went to be with his Lord as his family sat at his side on Friday June 15, 2012 at Mid- Michigan Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Clare County on October 25, 1935 to the late Ervin & Helen (Hager) Nash. He married Betty Lou Beavers on June 5, 1955 in Harrison, she survives him. Marv was the owner & operator of Marv Nash Trucking Co. in the Gladwin Area for 40 years. Marv was a loyal supporter the Gladwin County Fair and the Athletic Booster Clubs in Gladwin and Beaverton. He enjoyed being with his family, going to the Brown Retiree Breakfast Club, watching the Tigers, NASCAR, racing his cars and working on his farm.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, their children Ronald Nash of Midland, Rodney Nash of Gladwin, Gary & Patti Nash of Gladwin, Becky & Doug Padella of Gladwin, Patti Price of Beaverton, Kyle & Cindy Nash of Gladwin, Kevin & Julie Roehrs Nash of Beaverton; grandchildren Taylor, Katelyn, Mitchell, Emily, Megan, Michael, Josh, Kristen, Jenna, Tyler, Alix, Makenzie, Mason, Mitchell, Jessica, Jordon, Philip, Lexi and Morgan; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Beverly & Don Schuch of Sun City, AZ and Gloria & Charlie George of Peoria, AZ He was predeceased by 3 brothers Dewayne Nash, Eldon Nash and Edwin Nash.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 19, 2012 at 11 am from the Community of Christ Church 2339 W M-61, Gladwin, MI with Pastor Daniel French presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral Home on Monday from 1 to 9 pm. On Tuesday Mr. Nash will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of services.
Visitation Monday 1 to 9 pm and Tuesday 10 am until
Funeral services at 11 am from Community of Christ on M-61.
