Mrs. Young 79 passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation with her family at her side following a lingering illness. She was born in Pontiac on December 22, 1935 to the late Robert & Violia (Crain) Runyon. She married David Young on June 26, 1954 in Pontiac and after their retirement they moved to Gladwin. He survives her. Mary Ann was retired from the Pontiac School District where she worked as a library aid for over 25 years.
Surviving besides her husband are their children Linda Young, Randy Young, Sandy Reyes, David M. Young and Tim & Lisa Young ; grandchildren Tim, Ashley, Breanna, Raquel, Juan, Dominque, Alex, and Austin; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brothers Ronald, Douglas, and Norman Runyon and a sister in law Anne Runyon also, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Bob Runyon.
Funeral services and committal services will take place Monday December 29, 2014 at 11 am from Christian Memorial Gardens, Rochester Hills, Michigan family will greet friends from 10 am until time of services.
