Mrs. Clifford 81, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at her home with her family at her side following lingering illness. She was born in Detroit on July 16, 1931 to the late Charles & Elsie (Semer) Fessler. She married Robert F. Clifford on June 2, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a self taught artist painting pictures and china, but her greatest joy was being with her family and being the greatest mom and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years and their children JoAnn Clifford, David R. (Robin) Clifford, Lisa (Donus) Welke; son in law Michael Skorija; grandchildren Scott (April) Skorija, Amanda (Chris) Woolery, Kristi & Naomi Baum Skorija, Donus Welke, Suzanne Skorija &Rich Perry, Christopher (Lindsey) Clifford, Jamie Lynn (Josh) Loose, Andrew (Yvonne) Clifford, Joseph Welke, Robert Welke, Michael Clifford and Tommy Welke; 13 great grandchildren; a brother Charles (Mary) Fessler. She was preceded in death by a daughter Laurel E. Skorija, 2 brothers Paul & John Fessler. .
A Memorial gathering will be held for her will be held Saturday April 6, 2013 at 12:00 pm Noon at the Sage Township Hall, 1831 North Pratt Lake Road, Gladwin, Michigan 48624. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
