Mrs. Carnaghi 81 Passed away peacefully at her home Monday July 10, 2017 following brief illness. She was born in Detroit on December 11, 1935 to the Late Wilbert & Mary (Nadeau) Primeau. She married Ralph Carnaghi on September 11, 1954 at The Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church, Detroit, Michigan, he survives her. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years and their children Cynthia & Cesare Gaglio, Caroline & Ron Frazho, Philip & Tracy Carnaghi; five grandchildren Marigrace Gaglio, Emily & Michael Hanson, Haley Carnaghi and Dominic Carnaghi; two great grandchildren Lindsey & Timothy Hanson; a sister Madlynn & Francis Mitchick and Bryan & Kelly Tortomasi. She was preceded in death by a sister Joann Hamlin.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday July 17, 2017 at 7 pm at Sisson Funeral Home. Family will be present to greet friends from 3 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 12 noon at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 5900 McClellan, Detroit, Michigan 48213. Mrs. Carnaghi will lie in state at church from 11 am until time of Mass
