Obituary for Max Arthur Edmonds
Max Arthur Edmonds, age 57, a resident of Gladwin, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 17, 1961 to Darlene Edmonds Davis and the late Harvey A. Edmonds in Clare. Mr Edmonds was a proud retired Navy veteran and formed lifelong bonds with his shipmates. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and to feed and watch birds especially the pilated woodpecker. Surviving are his mother Darlene Edmonds Davis, Sister Shirley (Tim) Burrill, the love of his life Cheryl Pahl, his niece Katie Burrill (Shane Jones) and nephew Kenneth Burrill. Also surviving are his step sisters Pam (Tom) Lyons, Mickie (Roy) Bruner, Becky McKay and step brother Kevin (Marsha) Davis. Mr Edmonds is also survived by many other nieces and nephews relatives and friends. A memorial will held at a later date at the Hope United Methodist Church. Inurnment with military honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials honoring the memory of Max may be directed to his family.
