Obituary for Michael A. Hamilton
Michael A. Hamilton, age 47, of Harrison, MI, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Clare. He was born on September 24, 1962 in Pontiac, MI, the son of James and Dorothy (Watkins) Hamilton. He has lived in the Houghton Lake and Harrison areas since 1976. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his Father James Doyle Hamilton. He is survived by his children, Brian Hamilton of Harrison, MI and Amy (Mitch) Nash of Gladwin, MI. His Mother Dorothy (Max) Kramer of Houghton Lake, MI; Ex-Wife Lora McKimmy of Gladwin, MI; Brothers, David Hamilton of Howell, MI; Rick Hamilton of Harrison, MI and Sam Spencer Jr. of Milford, MI; Sisters, Debbie West of Weidman, MI and Sue Snider of Highland, MI. Soon to be first granddaughter. In accordance with Michael’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Dorothy’s house located at 6858 W. Emery St., Houghton Lake, MI 48629. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael to the family or to the American Diabetes Association.
