Obituary for Michael Dale Smith
Michael Dale Smith, age 56, a resident of Gladwin died on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Houghton Lake, while he was camping, one of his favorite pastimes. He was born on February 19, 1961 in Midland. He was employed as a mechanic in the automotive field. Mr. Smith was the son of Ardith and the late Dale. He was the dear father of Dena Omans, Katie Disbrow (David) and Amanda Plummer, Loving special friend of Vicky Faulbert and their fur baby “Little Man.” Beloved grandfather of Noah, Kory, Alexis, Kennedi and Jay Jr . Brother of Greg (Ed) and the late Rhonda Searfoss. A celebration of Michael’s life will begin at 1pm on Saturday, September 30th at the Gladwin Eagles Park on North M-18.
