Mr. Janice, 60, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 with his family at his side at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland following a brief illness. He was born in Detroit on July 18, 1956 to John & Betty (Metheny) Janice. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Marine Corp and a member of Local 1098-Pipe Fitters & worked as a tiller and mason. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to his daughter sing. He will be remembered as a man that loved life & being with his friends and family.
He is survived by his children Misty (his pinhead) & Brad Durkee, Cory Creighton and Terra Janice; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his father John Janice; a brother Mark & Nora Janice; a sister Mary Willan and his ex-wife Judy Janice-Dull. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Janice.
Honoring the wishes of Mike and his family cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held on at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Gladwin City Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
