Mrs. Burns 96 passed away Saturday April 26, 2014 at Palmer Pioneer Home in Palmer, Alaska. She was born in Gladwin to Claude & Lila (Blaney) Card. She married Charles Burns on April 12, 1943 in Flint and they lived in Gladwin most of their life. She was a registered nurse working at the Gladwin Hospital, Gladwin County Health Department and retiring from the Gladwin School district... She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and the Ladies Guild.
Funeral service will be held Friday May 2, 2014 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Rev. J. Thomas Downs presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 am until time of services. Arrangements are handled by Sisson Funeral Home.
