Mrs. Weaver 78 passed away y peacefully Thursday September 26, 2013 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland with her loving family at her side following a brief illness. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 17, 1935 to the late Jerry & Evangeline (Dearbin) Schornack. She married Chauncey (Chan) Weaver on July 23, 1958 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Coleman. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1976. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and attended Marysgrove College in Detroit. She was retired from Dow Chemical Company and the Gladwin School district where she worked in the High School Library.
She is survived by her children Jon & Jennifer Weaver of Wellington, FL, Julie & George T. Hill of Brooklyn, MI and Jeff & Kimberley Weaver of Oviedo, FL; 5 grandchildren Meredith McCann, George C. Hill, Claire Weaver, Lucas Weaver and Nathan Weaver; 2 sister Geraldine “Jerri” & Donald “Buzz” Wagar and Marie & Richard Holka; a brother in law Vern Miller; also special niece and nephew Debbie Waltz and Jim Miller. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Vivian McDonald and Elaine Miller
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday September 30, 2013 at 11 am from Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Fr. James Fitzpatrick presiding with burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Independence Twp. Michigan. Family will greet friends on Monday from 9 am to 11 am at the Sacred Heart Church. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Gladwin High School Library. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
