Phyllis passed away Saturday December 7, 2013 at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield with her family by her side after a brief illness. She was born February 3, 1929 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Paul and Esther (Johnson) Wheeler. She was a book keeper for many years for various companies then retired as a comptroller at the Pine Lake Country Club. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by four children Randy (Sandy) Nelson, Joan (Mark) Orlando, Eric Cecil and Sandy (Steve) Sias, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, one brother Gene Wheeler and one sister Delores (Bill) DeMino. She is predeceased by her daughter Linda List and granddaughter Rebecca Nelson.
Funeral services will be held at on Saturday December 14, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the Community Bible Church, 1888 Crescent Lake Road, Waterford, Michigan with Pastor Tom Hampton officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
