Ms. Purdy 38 passed away unexpectedly Monday morning July 18, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin following a heart attack. She was born in Saginaw on November 6, 1977 to Vere & Nancy (Barton) Purdy. She was a graduate of Reese High School and Ferris State University. Becky had worked as a travel agent for AAA Travel and at the Durey Inn at Frankenmuth before moving to Gladwin in 2005.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Jacob Anderson-Purdy, her parents Verne & Nancy Purdy; a brother Peter & Melissa Purdy; niece Madison Purdy and nephew Kyle Purdy; Aunts & Uncles Gary & Kate Purdy, carol Purdy, Tom & Terry Purdy, Patricia Barton and David Barton; many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Ken & Emma Purdy and Alphus & Mary Barton and an Aunt Catherine Tobias.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 am from Sisson Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Marcel Portelli presiding with burial to follow. Family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 8 pm and Friday 10 to 11 am to receive friends and family. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the Sugar springs Memorial Fund.
