Bob, age 74 passed away peacefully on Sunday October 28, 2012 at his home with his loving family at his side following a courageous battle with mesothelioma. He was born in Detroit on May 12, 1938 to the late John & Ann (Mroz) Jarosiewicz. He was the owner / operator of Roberts Construction Company and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Bob enjoyed his frequent trips to the casino, hunting, fishing, golfing and being in the out of doors at his hunting property. He is survived by his wife the former Nan Burnell, whom he married January 7, 1985 in Roscommon. His children Robert Jarosiewicz & fiancée Julie Boylen, Denice & Joe Vitale, Sheryl & Mike Benchley and Donna Jarosiewicz; step children James & Cheryl Wolkens and Jodi & Steve Young; grand children Robert John, David, Michael, Nathan, Ava, Jarek, Domenic, Jessica, Zach, Sydney, Nikki, Morgan, Hunter and Kynslee; 4 great grand children; a brother Ronald Jarosiewicz. He was predeceased by a brother and sister in law John & Joan Jarosiewicz.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday November 2, 2012 at 11 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Cotter presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday 1 to 8 pm. On Thursday a Vigil Service will be held at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. On Friday Mr. Jarosiewicz will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of mass. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
