Mr. Murry 73 passed away at his home on Monday September 23, 2013 following a lingering illness. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 18,2013 to the late Elmer Sr. & Helen (Papp) Murry. He was retired from Acorn Iron.
He was a loving father of Cindy Battenfield, Ronnie Pike, Catherine Pike and Robert D. Murry Jr., their mother Janet Adkins and a grandfather & great grandfather to many; his surviving siblings Carol Nanney of Essexville, John & Sandra Murry of Canton, Shirley Vieceli of Clinton Twp., David & Karen Murry of Fernandino Beach, FL, Sandra Murry of Clinton Twp., and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Theodore Pike, sister Dorothy Maxson, brothers Elmer Murry & Charles Murry, nephew Gary Nanney, brother in laws Gene Nanney, Dino Vieceli and Richard Maxson.
In honoring Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
