Robert Louis VanValkenburg Jr. 43 passed away on Thursday, October 13th 2016. Born September 15, 1973 in Mt Clemens, Michigan, he was the son of Robert Louis VanValkenburg Sr and Diane Rae Saylor. He attended Midland High School class of 1991. He enjoyed photography, soccer, foot golf, spending time with his children, cycling, and Pokémon Go. He will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, honesty, room brightening smile, infectious laugh, and being a loving and devoted father.
He is survived by his children Reagan Elizabeth VanValkenburg, Hannity Grace VanValkenburg, Robert Louis VanValkenburg III, his siblings Kimberly Renee (VanValkenburg) Hardy, Christopher James VanValkenburg, Peter Logan VanValkenburg, and Mackenzie Jane (VanValkenburg) Bronkema.
The visitation will be Sunday, October 16th 2016 at Sisson Funeral Home (135 N. Silverleaf St) in Gladwin, Michigan from 2-6pm. He will be interred in Butman Cemetery in Gladwin, Michigan during a private graveside service with immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the wishes of the family care of Sisson Funeral Home.
