Mr. Walter 71 passed away Sunday August 5, 2012 at McLaren – Bay Region following a lingering illness. He was born in Mt Pleasant on March 26, 1941 to the late Bert & Etta (Maxwell) Walter. He married the former Sharon Huber on October 13, 1962 in Harrison. She survives him. Bob was retired from Lenertz Trucking Company. He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, wood working and being with his family.
He is survived by their children Michael & Betty Lennon Walter, Suzette Terry, Douglas & Becki Walter and Krystal Walter & fiancee Dominic Ortaga;Â 9 grand children and 7 great grand children; brothers and Sisters Dorr & Karen Walter, Barbara & James Sharp, Dale Walter, Bert & Paula Walter and Enette Wilson & friend Harold. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kristine Miller and a sister Lucille Ashley.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 am from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Warren Petoskey presiding with burial in Billings Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 4 to 8pm and Thursday 10 am until time of services.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4pm to 8 pm
