Sherman Lincoln Babcock, age 74, passed away on December 27th, 2018 in Gladwin, MI.
Sherman was born in Coleman, MI to the late Richard K. & Ina Mae (Thompson) Babcock on February 12th, 1944. He was born and raised in Coleman, MI and worked as a pipe-layer/ throughout his life. He is survived by his children Gordon Mockridge, Dan (Trinity) Babcock, Tammy (Tim) Upchurch, Tonya (Mike) Wougamon, and Tony (Teresa) Babcock; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will dearly miss him. In addition to his children, he is survived by brothers Bob & Jim (Judy), and sister Dorothy. Sherman was preceded in death by wife Beverly, mother Ina, father Richard, brother Bill, infant brother Buddy, and infant daughter Trisha. He enjoyed spending his time camping, fishing, canoeing, hunting, & other outdoor activities. His children share fond memories of him joining them on the roller rink, Spinning Wheels in Rosebush, MI.
