Mrs. Frank 81 passed away peacefully Saturday January 28, 2017 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation following a lingering illness. She was born in Detroit on September 25, 1935 to the late Ernest & Loretta (Singleton) Hall. She married Daniel A. Frank on April 19, 1958 at St James Church, Ferndale, Michigan, he survives her. She worked at Southfield Lathrup High school as a counselor. She enjoyed shopping, hosting parties at the lake and loved to be the event planner. She will be remembered as a very social person by her friends and family. Shirley was a volunteer for Gladwin Hospice and working the local blood drives,
Surviving besides her husband of 58 years are their children Daniel E & Tamara Frank and Janine A. Frank; grandchildren Jacob & Crystal Frank, Briana & David Simmons and Heather & Brandon Strohm; 7 great grandchildren; a special niece Karen Henderickson. She was preceded by a sister Betty Ling.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4, 2017 at 11 am from Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Bradstreet presiding with cremation to follow. Family will be present at the Sisson Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 8 pm and Saturday at the church from 10 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Gladwin Animal Shelter in her memory.
