Mrs. Weatherington, 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 13 from a sudden heart attack at St. Mary’s Hospital-Standish. She was born in Detroit, Michigan September 24, 1951 to Raymond & Sally (Jenkins) Riley. She married Ronald Weatherington on August 28, 1971 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pontiac and he survives her.
Sue enjoyed being on the water, waterskiing, swimming, downhill skiing and caring for her home and yard. Her family will cherish the memory of her cooking, the love of the American flag and especially the love for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Ron and their children Jayson Weatherington and daughter Jody & Samir Raval; grandchildren Raymond, Riley, Hannah and Braden; her parents Raymond & Sally Riley; her siblings Barbara & Bill Riley, Carrie & Graham Baxter and sister in law Sue & George Bubnes, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her in laws Ray & Loutish Weatherington.
Funeral services will be held Monday June18, 2018 at 4 pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with cremation to follow. Family will be present at the funeral home on Monday from 1 to 4 pm to greet family and friends. Memorials can be made out to the American Heart Association.
