Thomas Francis Rowell
Gladwin, Michigan, Aransas Pass, Texas and Bellaire, Michigan.
Mr. Rowell age 71, passed away Tuesday October 28, 2014 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland following a brief illness. He was born in Detroit on January 28, 1943 to the late Francis Thomas & Mae (Tregoning) Rowell. He graduated from Clarenceville High School, Farmington, Michigan. Tom was owner / operator of Northeastern Manufacturing & Sales, Inc., AA Structural Rolling in Standish, Michigan and West End Welding, Inc., Wixom, Michigan over 45 years. He was a member of the American Welding Society, Standish Chamber of Commerce, American Institute Steel Constructors Inc, and NOMMA. He enjoyed wood and metal working, motorcycles, car collecting, boating, traveling, reading about history and never wanting to be still, always looking for a new adventure.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (Sanders-Penick) Rowell, whom he married June 24, 2012 in Aransas Pass, Texas. They split their time between residences in Aransas Pass, Texas, Gladwin and Bellaire, Michigan. Also, his children Tamara (James) Elmer, Thomas Rowell, Cissielya (Jason) Kambach, Amanda Rowell, Sarah Roy, son-in-law Robert O'Neal; step-sons Bradley, Terry, Todd and Andrew Penick; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kimberly O’Neal, a sister Carol Stranberg and a brother George Rowell.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 6, 2014 at 11 am from the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with burial Torch Lake Township Cemetery, Central Lake, Michigan. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3pm to 8 pm and Thursday 10 am until services. Graveside services will be held Friday November 7, 2014 at 10 am at Torch Lake Township Cemetery, Central Lake, Michigan. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Salvation Army, a Humane Society or a charity of choice.
