Obituary for Thomas Joseph Garvie Sr.
Thomas Joseph Garvie Sr, age 59, a resident of Lake City passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 28th, 2018. He was born in Clare, Michigan to Bertha and the late Charles Garvie of Beaverton on November 4, 1958.
Tom took great pride in his profession building high end custom concrete swimming pools and hot tubs throughout the state of Michigan with the greatest gift he ever received, his four boys.
His greatest joy was spending time with his four boys, 13 grandchildren, his mom and his dog Yogi (Boots) Berra.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Deborah, mother Bertha, sons Thomas Jr., (Melissa), Joseph, Joshua, Nick and his step children Jeremy (Kelly) and Jacqueline Dewald-Fair, brothers and sisters, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and sister Sue.
At his request he will be cremated . A celebration of his life will be held beginning 12 noon on Sunday . June 10th at Ross Lake Park in Beaverton.
