Mr. Goss 81, beloved husband, father, grand father and brother passed away Friday October 12, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center- Midland following a brief illness. He was born in Cravens. Oklahoma on November 6, 1930 to the late Troy & Lillie May (Danel) Goss. He married the former Alene Curtis on November 26, 1949; she preceded him in death on June 1, 2010. Troy was retired from General Motors-V-8 Plant Flint, Michigan. He was a self taught musician playing many instruments and enjoyed hosting Karaoke at many different venues in the Gladwin and Flint area. He was a member of the Eagles Gladwin & Albright Shores, Moose, 32 Degree Mason & Shriner, and a drywall installer.
He is survived by his children Jerry & Vonda Goss, Beverly Andrews & Brad James, Joe & Belle Goss and Theresa & Thomas Barota; 13 grandchildren, many great grand children and one great great granddaughter; a daughter in law Teri Goss; a brother Ray Goss. He was predeceased by his son Tony, 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with burial in Arbutus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services. Â
