Obituary for Vernice M. Anders
Vernice Mae Anders, 83, of Gladwin, MI passed away at Gladwin Nursing and Rehab community on Thursday, May 2, 2019. She was born to Nelson and Stella (Cady) Anders in Gladwin County on August 2, 1935. She resided in Gladwin MI.
Vernice graduated Spring Arbor Junior College in 1956 then attended Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, NY.
Her early career was in teaching, then secretarial and customer service work, including American Roller Company, Amway, and Foremost Insurance Company. She spent many years as a homemaker and talented crafter, designer and seamstress. (She had an engineering mind, and could make just about anything!)
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Trevor (Melissa) Hallenbeck, Lisa (Tom) Gunseor, David (Crystal) Hallenbeck; twelve grandchildren, and her first great grandchild (due September, 2019), as well as Cousins Carole (William) Beck and Nancy (Ray) Banks, and nephew Stephen (Georgia) Scott.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine (Richard) Scott.
