Mr. Kern 90 passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his home following a lingering illness. He was bornin Flint, Michigan on February 7, 1928 to the late William & Ethel (Baxter ) Kern. He married the former Virginia Dilleree on November 8, 1948. She preceded him in death. Bill retired from Fisher body in Flint and moved to Gladwin. He enjoyed being on and near the water fishing and camping.
He is survived by his children Sandy Caroma, Peggy French, Debbi Gamm and Sue & Harvey Rossman; a daughter-in-law Deb Kern; a brother Herb Kern and a sister Corra McClure; also numerous grandchildren, great grand children, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: William and Gerald and a daughter Patricia, a grandson, 1 brother, a sister, 2 son in laws , a sister in law and 2 brother in laws.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 1 pm at the Birch Run VFW, Post 7542, 11325 Dixie Hwy, Birch Run, Michigan.
