Obituary for Winifred L. Mazey
Winifred L. Mazey, 98, of Beaverton, MI and formerly of Findlay passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born on September 20, 1915 to the late Ray and Maude (McGranahan) Ethell in Hancock County, OH. She married Thomas Everett Mazey and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons: Thomas (Elizabeth) Mazey of Citra, FL and John (Melinda) Mazey of Findlay; three daughters: Janet (Kenneth) Grieve of Ignacio, CO, Ruth Ann (Jerry) Frazey of Delaware, OH and Mary (William) Wellington of Beaverton, MI; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Lucille Tussing and a brother, Wayne Ethell. Winifred was a member of Stonebridge Church of God. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Pastor Elizabeth Hultz will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Online condolences may be made via www.coldrencrates.com. Local services were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
