Mrs. Peters 83 passed away Monday January 5, 2015 at her following a brief illness. She was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on November 5, 1931 to the late John & Effie (Kester) Leonard. She married Leo F Peters in June 1952, he preceded her in death on December 23, 1999. Agnes retired from GM Lansing Plant # 2 were she was the first female foreman in a General Motors Facility. She was a member of the Secord Eagles where she worked bingos and volunteered at the Gladwin Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her children Randy & Janet Peters and Pamela (Jeff Priestley) Peters; a daughter in law Doris Peters; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Gary Peters in 2012 and 12 brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date with inurnment at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
